A place for actors to perfect and challenge their craft.

Acting Class

Classes are designed to make the actor aware of specific areas of concentration in the process of creating the total life of the play. Mr. Nichols' teaching techniques are based on the teachings of Uta Hagen, with whom he studied for five years.

Beginning Technique And Advanced Scene Study

This acting class is designed to fit the needs of the beginning, intermediate and advanced actor. Beginners have the opportunity to observe and learn from the more seasoned actors and the experienced actor gets to refresh the basic skills and technique. Focus is on basic dramatic structure for the actor. These concepts are then applied to scenes, monologues and the Uta Hagen exercises. Currently the class is being taught on Saturdays from 1:00 to 3:00pm. See our calendar for the current, most up-to-date schedule.

Class terms are six weeks and meet once a week for a two hour session. Fee: $125. Installment payments may be arranged. Enrollment limited to twelve. No refunds.
